September 26 – December 5, 2014, Performing Arts Show Space
Opening Reception: October 10, 2014, 5-8 pm, Epcor Centre for the Performing Arts (205 8 Avenue SE)
Working in a neo-constructivist fashion, Dunkley’s works explore the fundamental relationships of our universe: light, space, movement and time. Dunkley works with a variety of materials and processes that involve light directly. The works reflect, refract and conduct light while evoking a sense of transformation and progression through space and time.
A native to Calgary, Kirk Dunkley has been studying and producing sculpture for the past ten years. Dunkley graduated from the University of Calgary with a Master’s Degree in Fine Art where he focused on sculpture and installation practices. Dunkley also has a background in product design and manufacturing.
